The perforations ensure that these trays are suitable for use in all types (vacuum & non-vacuum) sterilisers.

Isopharm Guidance

When transporting sterilised instruments, to avoid recontamiation it is preferable that they are wrapped or seperated from direct contact with their container on a tray that itself has been sterilised. (HTM 01-05 2013 edition. Section 2.27).
