How this product helps you comply with HTM 01-05 (2013 Edition)

• HTM 01-05 advises that pouched instruments may be stored for up to 1 year from date of sterilisation (HTM 01-05 2013 edition. Section 2.4.k). Instruments should be wrapped pre-sterilisation if the autoclave is a type B or S, and instruments should be wrapped post-sterilisation if the autoclave is a type N
• When transporting sterilised instruments, to avoid recontamination it is preferable that they are wrapped or seperated from direct contact with their container on a tray that has been sterilised (HTM 01-05 2013 edition. Section 2.27).
